Compound bow – Maintaining your investment

The purchase of a compound is a major investment, this is not what you want year.and is certaintly not what you have to do every year.

Even if you are starting out, there are bows with pulleys to adjust to grow with you, and depending on their age of onset, can be the only bow you must buy.

Yes, there are those who need it "later" and most recently, "every year or every two years, but I really enjoy the sport of archery, you really need to invest only once can twicein a compound bow.

Now, like most things worth investing in, it should be interesting to invest the time needed to care properly, because the key to a successful hunt is a well-maintained bow.

So how have you been a compound bow?

the first and probably most important to care for his bow, buy a bow is the last case.when Once you've spent a lot of money on something and let it set out the elements? On the back of your truck or hanging in his garage is not a good place for investment. Excessive heat, moisture, dirt and pests, all play an important role in the deterioration of the compound bow. Proper storage is a difficult case or two sides of a case flexibility is very beneficial.

The next thing you should pay attention, is the bow strings and cables.
Arches and cables should be frequently and regularly blackboard. This allows them to stay strong and become blurry and fraying.

Inspect chains and wires after each use and look for signs of "diffuse" and treated with wax. Make a habit of doing and be convinced that its stand bow hunting in wet conditions and the chains and cables will remain strong.

Other areas require attention are the axes and rings, for those who want to use an arc of good oil (manual, you should have this information) to give a few drops after brush each excursion. Some Compound Bows do not require this type of lubrication
So you want to make sure check your manual.

Always, always, always check the bow members for cracks, dents or other evidence of the ceramics before and after shooting. And always have a professional appearance and to solve the problem. Your warranty should cover it. Never try to solve this problem yourself.

And then check the screws and tighten to the members that are loose, a simple Allen key set is just what you need. Finally clean your bow to the filth and dirt out of the day.

For doingthese few simple steps each time you use the bow will remain confident in their ability to perform well and help make his last investment in the coming years.
