Dragon Age: Origins is a warrior or a thief better for archery and the man or elf?

I am a goalkeeper and I'm not sure if I should choose an elf or a man and a thief or a warrior. On the other hand, what should I approach statistics as an archer.

the human beings pretty sure that the basis of statistics archery, and certainly thugs. I say skill to get to the statistics, but be careful about playing an archer and I heard that was one of the specifications boring to play.
