Why Olympic archers bow fall forward after releasing the arrow?
I've been bow hunting years, with a simple heavy recurve and I've never been in the compounds, stabilizers or modern viewpoint. But I do not stop to see Modran archery target with all the accessories that are in the Olympics. I take pictures and stabilizers and I understand the paradox of archers. But after the arrow took flight, Archer continues to fall through his bow forward. Since no archery clubs in this part of the world, I wonder how this dose advantage of the action?
Olympic archers do not grip bow with his hands is the main reason for his bow falls forward. We handle against our hands, but not wrap your fingers around shooter. Our fingers are usually is on the side of it, this minimizes torque caused by the hand. Archery Olympic style is designed to minimize contact between the human body and ultra incoherent arc consistent. It is much easier to stay consistent when your hand is open and the bow is resting on the palm of the hand grip of the bow. Now open the handle itself does not swing the bow to low. It is the work of the stabilization system. There are several ways to stabilize an Olympic-style recurve. One way is to have a long stalk in between the elevator is another that has two short bars at the top and bottom. With long stems, you will see this swinging action, but when you have the up / down short stems arch starts to tilt forward slightly, but not swing to the bottom. This is all a matter of preference, most elite archers in their Arch Swing Down, some quickly, some run slower. Personally, I think a faster roll makes me feel safer and feel more stable arc. One thing to keep in mind the time that the bow ready to swing down, the boom is gone. The effect the theft occurs by the archer himself. If you do not feel comfortable with his bow, stress on your Palm will not be uniform. In the style archery Olympic distances make a slight difference in pressure will result in a palm landing boom in gold and one in the blue to 6 hours.
