double bow hunting blinds

How many of you use a ground blind to hunt deer?

I’m thinking about going this route this year for bow and shotgun. Looking at double bull blinds. Is there success to be had here? I’ve heard a few say that its good, and some say that the its much harder.

I’m in the same boat you are in.But I went ahead and bought a blind in order to set it up a few times and take it back down so I wont be doing it for the first time during hunting season. After reading countless reviews I decided the double bull was not worth the additional cost. I bought the Ameristep Bone Collector due to the favorable reviews it had.

I have a few friends that use the ground blinds and have killed deer within 10 foot of the blind. They say if you put it out before the season the deer get used to it and pay no attention to it, They also say that you need to brush it in real good if you are going to set it up and hunt right away out of it.

I was forced to buy one this year because they are clearcutting my lease and there will be no trees left to climb when they finish, or at least very few left.
