how to choose the right arrow shaft for my bow?
i have a reflex extreme hts compound bow with a 60-70 pound draw and draw is currently set at 60 and i am shooting aluminum arrows as of now. i would like to start shooting carbon arrows and can’t understand what the charts are saying, i only know a little of what is going on it seems you need about 5 grains per pound for an arrow and that’s minimum. what is a good arrow weight for me in this situation? i think my bow has a fps of 280-300 at 60 pounds so maybe that helps you help me. also 60 bucks for a pack of 6 arrows is too much for me so im looking into wal-mart arrows just to get started (and don’t tell me not to buy them), and need to know what kind of arrows they have
honestly go to an archery shop and have them get you set up. i got a pack of 12 arrows for 70 bucks ur gonna have to suck it up and buy some decent arrows i wouldnt waste my time and money messing around with wally world crap. youll just get frustrated with that cheap stuff besides you need to have your arrows cut to your draw length which walmart doesnt do… im in ur boat i dont have enough money to suport my hunting and fishing needs but i dont skimp i just save a little bit more
shooting a Reflex compound bow, 20-25 yards
