Is there a relationship between young children (12 months) likes to draw and academic ability?
My friend has 3 children and all loved to sit and draw with a pencil and paper for hours at a young age and so far (they are 10, 8 and 2) and all are doing well in school. My brother has always been in the design when we were children and found school work a lot easier than me. My son (now 9) has never liked the arts and crafts that is clay. Would be happy to see me draw and color their paintings, but never had the pleasure to himself and quickly got bored and fighting for more academic writing disordered. I know this has nothing to do with the coordination of the eyes of my son's hand is very good at ball games and a batting, bowling and archery, etc. So good, Have you noticed any links with their own children to do with the enjoyment and early academic skills in the picture?
The only "link" I can reach is when children fall into the theory of multiple intelligences. The idea here is that each has different capabilities, which focus, execute and learn better. Some of these skills very well in streamlining the provision of education, which makes it very easy for children to do well in school with minimal effort. Other skills, however, working almost in opposition to the way schools are operating normally, making it more difficult for these children preform in school and forced to work harder. Take a look and see where you think your son's grave (I guess it's much more than a kinesthetic person with perhaps a little naturalist there as well), then see what they think the other 3 children fall. With how schools operate normally, children who are linguistic, spatial, logical, and interpersonal relationships tend to have an easier life.
