help in obtaining a grant for the scout group?
Hi I am a scout leader in an area of Birmingham and try underprivledge expand our resourcers in our group for the purchase of equipment for arc and a safety net to allow the young ppl that have unfortunately tend to lose the field due the costs of experiance different things archery seems to be a very popular sport among the young and our memebers wondering if anyone knows where I can apply for grants to help with rias funds in advance for your help
There are several charities in Birmingham who donate to groups such as Scouts and Guides, but Of course, most tend to be generous on the outside (and outside) of the suburbs. I thought that if you make inquiries to Scout HQ (I think it's Hatchett Street), which may be able to give you the names of charitable gift ideas. Some years ago I asked the BBC's youth need money to create a school garden in the heart of Birmingham and received £ 2000. There are a number of centers of the outdoor activities you can take your Scouts, including those owned and managed by the Scout Movement and the private sector and the Center of The Woodlands.
