In archery Wii Sports Resort, I can not reach the hidden target first … HELP?

When hitting the orange part of the waterfall that keeps me beat … As soon as you shoot an arrow, instead of following the orange just say "Miss" instead … I need help, as all my numerous attempts at this level once you follow the arrow and I'm not sure what they did to do it. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated: D

I hit 3 times. You have to point much higher than normal for what I do is the order of how they normally would, then move it a little. Just keep trying using trial and error.
