type of bow?

ok well i want to pick up archery so i can shoot my science teacher’s picture. i want a bow that’s under $120, and definately not a cross bow. im 13 and fairly strong so i don’t need a youths. wat bow would be best for me, and where could i get it?

Your best bet is to find an archery shop, bass pro or cabelas, where you can go in and hold and pull and in most places even shoot the bows and see what works the best for you. not every bow works well for everyone. thats why they are made in so many variations. best advice i can give you.for under 120 you will not get a top of the line bow such as bowtech, hoyt or mathews, but may still find a bow that shoots good for you
